Meet the Team
What do an engineering professor, a young adult fiction author, a pediatric nurse, a school psychologist, and a former Magic: The Gathering state champion have in common?
They're all members of our team at Young Dragonslayers!
Our Game Masters (or Dungeon Masters, if you prefer) are people who excel at two things: running a well-crafted D&D adventure and creating a safe, supportive space for kids. Many come from helping professions like education, counseling, and healthcare.
We’re a diverse crew with a shared passion for gaming. Behind the scenes, our team Discord is constantly buzzing with ideas, new character concepts, and suggestions for making every session even better.

As you’d expect, his campaigns are funny, but they’re also impressively thoughtful. Ben is not afraid to do extra research to support his players’ interests: a crash course in economics helped a party pitch a business venture to an NPC investor, and a diagrammed crab eyeball proved invaluable in a battle against a crustacean Big Bad.
