Great groups don’t happen by chance
We meet every player first, think carefully about who they’ll play with, and give each group a Game Master who can adjust the story, rules, and challenge based on how those kids like to play.
First, we learn what your kid loves to geek out about.
You’ll fill out a short pre-registration form about your kid, their D&D experience, what they’re into, and how they like to play. Once enrollment opens, you’ll meet with one of our longtime Game Masters for a friendly 15-minute Zoom call.
Your kid can geek out about games, characters, or fandoms they love, and you can ask questions or share anything you think would help us get to know them. They don’t need to prepare. It’s a chance to put a face to a name and make the whole online thing feel more human.
They can Try a quest before you decideOptional Trial Game
A $49, 90-minute adventure with a ready-to-play character and no D&D experience needed. Available to book after your 15-min meet-and-greet.
Then we figure out which group they might fit best.
Once we’ve met the incoming players, our team sits down together and talks through every kid we’ve gotten to know. Sometimes little details line up in pretty delightful ways, like realizing two new players both love Undertale or that kids on opposite sides of the country are unknowingly creating remarkably similar dragonborn characters.
We’re not trying to put six identical kids together. We’re looking for the group and Game Master where each player can bring something different to the table while still wanting to play the same kind of game.
Once they’re matched, we get them ready to play.

Game Masters who really know kids, not just D&D.
Once we know who’s at the table, the Game Master can start shaping the adventure around them. Our GMs are serious D&D nerds, but they also bring experience from education, mental health, healthcare, youth programs, writing, performance, and more.
That combination matters in the game. They know when to explain a rule and when to embrace the “rule of cool,” how to adjust the story when a group needs something different, and how to weave players’ favorite genres, fandoms, and ridiculous ideas into the campaign.
Then the games begin!
The first game night starts with Session Zero: a little time for everyone to meet, introduce their characters, set some ground rules, and talk about what they do and don’t want in the adventure. It gives the group a chance to get comfortable together and get on the same page about the kind of game they’re about to play.
Each week after that, the story picks up where the last game left off. There’s usually a little chitchat while everyone logs on, then the Game Master sets the scene, and each kid decides how their character responds. They’ll roll dice to see how well their ideas work, with plenty of twists and turns, plans that don’t quite work out, occasional fights with monsters, and inside jokes along the way.
For most players, the first term is just the beginning.
The adventure may happen in a fantasy world, but the relationships built around it are real. More than 75% of our players return for another term, and many stay for years. Over time, familiar faces become friends, callbacks from old adventures become part of the group lore, and D&D night becomes something kids genuinely look forward to.
Parents tell us they can hear their kids laughing from across the house. They get the full recap when the game ends because their child can’t wait to explain what happened. And on a hard week, seeing their D&D friends can be one of the things they’re looking forward to most.
